It's a trend for the exec.</li><li>After people online speculated that it was a pricey luxury tee, Wang chimed in to say it was a $30 thrifted shirt.</li></ul><p>Move over Alexander Wang — it's Alexandr Wang (with only one "e") whose fashion choices are generating buzz online.</p><p>The Meta exec, fresh off the <a target="" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/meta-muse-user-friendly-design-killer-feature-2026-9">runaway popularity of the Muse</a> AI agent, is the guy <a target="" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/meta-scale-ai-15-billion-alexandr-wang-acquihire-ai-2025-6">Mark Zuckerberg effectively spent $15 billion</a> to hire last year.</p><p>And he dressed for the occasion — <a target="" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/meta-connect-mark-zuckerberg-muse-mascot-ai-victory-lap-2026-9">Meta's Connect 2026 conference</a> on Wednesday — in a camo T-shirt with a 1990s-style print: a deer head on the front, a wooded path and more deer underneath it, and a "Lake Tahoe" label on the sleeve. During the Wednesday keynote, he also wore a black T-shirt that read "Building is my love language."</p><p>Wang's outfit connects with how he's branded Meta's AI assistant online: less polished corporate futurism, and far more chaotic online founder energy.</p><p>Following the address, several people online immediately turned their attention to Wang's shirt. Was it quiet luxury? He has spent the past several weeks promoting the Muse agent with a barrage of memes on X, bragging through what <a target="" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/alexandr-wang-meta-muse-social-media-posts-pr-strategy-2026-9">he describes as a "tweet cannon."</a></p><h2 id="fd0e1072-29f1-4bd8-a051-bf319ca05d8b" data-toc-id="fd0e1072-29f1-4bd8-a051-bf319ca05d8b">BI investigates….</h2><p>We can't confirm any specifics about his workwear.
